sales buyer-signals closing

Is the prospect ready to buy, or just being polite?

How to read buying confidence from the structure of a sales conversation instead of guessing from tone.

Tone is noisy. Buying behavior is clearer.

A ready prospect gets specific. They ask about implementation, timing, payment, who needs to be involved, and what happens after they buy. They stop debating the general idea and start testing whether the decision is safe.

A polite prospect stays abstract. They say it sounds interesting, but do not expose constraints or next steps.

The move is not to guess. Ask a confidence question:

What still needs to be clear before this feels like a yes or no?

Ready buyers answer that directly. Unready buyers become more vague.
